VSR – Virtual Situation Room and Operational Monitoring
VSR (Virtuaalne Situatsiooniruum, "Virtual Situation Room") is Estonia's consolidated platform for operational monitoring and real-time situational awareness (C2).
The system brings national open data, sensor networks, telemetry and open-source intelligence (OSINT) together on a single interactive map.
In the media: Geenius digital show, 5 Oct 2026 (in Estonian) — the hosts spent an hour in VSR and talked about what they found. 📻 The Radio (Estonian) also works without the map: vsr.krativabrik.ee/raadio.html (phone, car).
Airspace and air traffic
Real-time flight monitoring and a complete airspace picture over Estonia's area of responsibility and the surrounding region:
- ADS-B data and transponders: updated 08.10 Real-time position, altitude, speed, vertical rate, squawk codes and flight tracks of civil and military aircraft.
- Estonian airports & LiveATC: Tallinn (Lennart Meri), Tartu, Kuressaare, Kärdla and Pärnu airfields with integrated live air traffic control (TWR/APP/ACC) radio feeds.
- Multi-source ADS-B: aircraft positions are merged from several community networks (adsb.lol, adsb.fi; airplanes.live, OpenSky and others as reserve). Each source is polled at its own pace within its limits and the last good answer stays valid for 60 s, so a single slow feed no longer blanks the map. The source status is shown in the API (
/api/planes → sources) and in the Analyst situation sheet.
- Weather balloons & radiosondes: Estonian Environment Agency and international stratospheric meteorological sondes with live telemetry (SondeHub).
- Airspace restrictions (NOTAM): Estonia: EANS official active danger areas, firing zones and restricted areas on the map. Finland: ANS Finland / Fintraffic NOF public pre-flight bulletin (ais.fi) – area activations, drone areas and GNSS warnings.
- Obstacles from NOTAMs: temporary obstacles (cranes, masts) at their exact position with height.
- Drone areas (UAS): Official UAS geographical zones of EANS and the Estonian Transport Administration – prohibited, permit-required and conditional areas (updated daily). Does not replace the EANS drone map for flight planning.
Maritime traffic and subsea infrastructure
Real-time monitoring of shipping in the Baltic Sea and the Gulf of Finland and of critical subsea infrastructure:
- AIS transponders: Real-time positions, destinations, ETA, draughts and speeds of passenger, cargo and tanker vessels. Coverage: the whole Gulf of Finland up to St Petersburg, the Gulf of Riga and Pärnu Bay, and the central and southern Baltic (plus community AIS feeds).
- Vessel tracks & shadow fleet: Vessel movement trails and identification of sanctioned and shadow-fleet vessels by IMO/MMSI (EU, UK, OFAC, Ukrainian GUR and other lists via OpenSanctions) with a behavioural risk pattern.
- River and lake levels (Estonian Environment Agency): new 11.10 water level at about 60 hydrometric stations, hourly, layer "River and lake levels" in the Maritime group. As no official flood limits are published for rivers, the level is compared with the long-term mean and maximum for the same month: yellow = elevated, orange = above the long-term monthly maximum or rising fast, red = far above the maximum. Warnings go to the Radio and the Analyst; the layer switches itself on during a warning. At stations affected by dams or hydro plants (Räpina, Roostoja, Narva) a fast rise alone does not trigger a warning.
- Heavy-rain totals (weather radar): new 11.10 1 h and 3 h rainfall totals are computed from radar frames (every 5 min). If ≥20 mm in 1 h or ≥30 mm in 3 h falls near an Estonian settlement, the Radio warns of possible flooding of streets and underpasses (≥35 mm / ≥50 mm: likely flooding). These are radar estimates (±30–50 %).
- Sea level (Estonian Environment Agency): new 08.10 real-time sea level at 15–17 coastal stations (EH2000 datum, hourly), layer "Sea level" in the Maritime group. Station markers are coloured against the Weather Service's official level-1 limits (Pärnu +180, Narva-Jõesuu +180, Haapsalu +160, Pirita +100, Kuressaare/Roomassaare +170 cm; other stations use derived limits, marked as such), with trend, 24 h chart, water temperature and wind in the popup. Warnings in the Radio and to the Analyst from 75 % of the limit or a rise of ≥10 cm/h; low water is monitored too (Pärnu −50 cm official; Virtsu and Heltermaa −40 cm, ferry traffic). The layer switches itself on during a warning.
- Ice chart and ice observations (Environment Agency, Rescue Board): new 31.10 optional layer: sea ice chart, ice-thickness observations (up to 14 days old) and official ice restrictions. A chart older than 7 days is not drawn on the map, so the layer is empty out of season and starts showing in winter by itself. Thickness at one spot does not confirm the safety of the surrounding ice.
- Subsea infrastructure: Communication cables, power interconnectors (Estlink 1 and 2), gas pipelines (Balticconnector) and their protection zones.
- Nautical charts & navigation: The Estonian Transport Administration's official nautical chart (Nutimeri, ENC) and Finnish Traficom charts with depths, shoals and fairways, EMODnet Bathymetry and OpenSeaMap navigation marks (buoys, lighthouses, fairways).
Critical infrastructure and energy monitoring
Monitoring of faults and the real-time state of the national energy infrastructure and road network:
- Elektrilevi outages: Real-time medium- and low-voltage grid power outages, fault areas and the number of customers affected. new 18.10 Planned works that are in progress right now are also shown, in blue (as under "currently active" on Elektrilevi's own map); the fault count, the Radio and the Analyst still use unplanned faults only.
- Cross-border power and gas flows: fixed 08.10 EstLink 1 and 2, the Finland total, Latvia and the Balticconnector gas flow with direction are read from Elering's dedicated cross-border endpoints (earlier the figures were read from the wrong endpoint and showed 0). Missing data is reported as missing, never as zero — this feeds the Analyst.
- Elering transmission grid: 110 kV and 330 kV trunk lines, substations and the national generation/consumption balance with a 24-hour generation and consumption chart.
- Water outages: new 20.10 Tallinna Vesi emergency and planned water outages and pipe cleaning on the map with time and affected addresses; location from the address (Land and Spatial Board In-ADS). A new emergency outage is also announced on the Radio.
- Air quality: new 20.10 hourly values from the 18 monitoring stations of the Estonian Environmental Research Centre (ohuseire.ee) — PM2.5, PM10, NO₂, O₃, SO₂, CO, H₂S and more; colour shows the worst pollutant on the ohuseire.ee scale. Two consecutive hours at "poor" trigger a Radio bulletin.
- Island ferries: new 20.10 next scheduled departures on Virtsu–Kuivastu and Rohuküla–Heltermaa (TS Laevad timetable, public transport open data) and the ferries' AIS positions (in port / en route). Delays and cancellations are on praamid.ee.
- Tallinn Airport flight information: new 20.10 the Tallinn popup on the airports layer shows the next departures and arrivals, delays and cancellations (Tallinn Airport). At least 3 cancellations within two hours trigger a Radio bulletin. new 27.10 Every delay of 30 minutes or more goes to the Radio (flight, destination and new time); the same flight is repeated only if the delay grows by another half hour.
- Internet probes (RIPE Atlas): new 31.10 optional layer: connection state of public Atlas probes in Estonia, grouped into 0.1° cells (no individual probe location, ID or IP is shown). A cell turns orange only when it holds at least 3 probes and half are disconnected; a cell with fewer than 3 probes is grey. One disconnected probe does not mean an outage. Non-commercial use; not fed to the Radio or the Analyst.
- Population density: Statistics Estonia 1 km × 1 km population grid – map layer and the number of residents in a selected area.
- Tark Tee road monitoring: The Transport Administration's road weather stations, road cameras, roadworks, hazardous road conditions and traffic accidents.
- Road hazards (DATEX II): Transport Administration Tark Tee DATEX II safety messages (animals on the road, obstacles, slippery road, fog, wind) together with road weather station and variable message sign warnings – map layer and radio.
Security and electronic warfare
Signals intelligence, the frequency licence register and electronic warfare monitoring:
- Air-threat alerts: new 18.10 EE-ALARM alerts have no public data feed, so this layer collects ERR news and kriis.ee reports about air and drone threats and colours the counties they name. Red = active (until an "all clear" report or 3 hours after the latest report), grey = ended in the last 24 hours. The popup links to the reports; it is based on media reports, the official alert is sent to phones via EE-ALARM.
- REMP frequency licences and masts: Official TTJA radio, broadcasting, aviation and mobile network masts with a frequency filter (0–40 GHz).
- GNSS/GPS interference detection: Signal analysis of the Land Board's ESTPOS reference stations and GPS interference reported in navigational warnings.
- Defence Forces training areas: Official firing times and activity of the Central Training Area, Sirgala, Nursipalu, Klooga and other ranges.
- Russian border region warnings: Official weather warnings, emergency warnings and daily summaries from the EMERCOM (МЧС) directorates of the Leningrad and Pskov regions, summarised in English and Estonian – on the map and on the radio.
- Eastern border monitoring: the 469 official numbered border markers of the Estonia–Russia temporary control line (Government regulation, 2015) plus about 280 border posts mapped in OpenStreetMap (including the Narva river bank posts no. 539–682) and waiting queues at the Narva, Koidula and Luhamaa border crossings. updated 20.10
OSINT and social media analysis
Spatial event analysis and open-source intelligence tools:
- Area analysis (geofence): Draw a circular or rectangular operational area on the map and generate a consolidated report in seconds (residents, vessels, aircraft, outages, hazards, roadworks).
- Google dorking on social media: Automatically generated location-based searches of Telegram channels, X (Twitter), TikTok and Instagram without a login wall.
- Satellite and weather data: NASA FIRMS satellite hotspot (fire) detection, Esri high-resolution orthophotos, and the Estonian Weather Service's live radar and lightning strikes.
- Fire danger index (Environment Agency): new 31.10 optional layer: weather-based fire-danger class I–VI per municipality (Canadian FWI method, Keskkonnaportaal open data, CC BY 4.0), updated daily. Shows the most common class; it is not an official warning or a Rescue Board restriction.
Latvia and Lithuania new 18.10
In addition to Estonia, VSR is starting to show information about Latvia and Lithuania:
- Country selection: buttons Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania at the top of the layer menu. Only Estonia is on by default; the choice is remembered in the browser. Each country's layers have their own section.
- Latvia power outages: Sadales tīkls public outage map — unplanned and planned outages and the number of connections.
- Lithuania power outages: ESO public outage map — outage areas, number of customers and cause.
- Latvia air-threat and public alerts: 112.lv publishes the alert that NBS and VUGD send to phones; the map shows the alert area (yellow = possible threat, orange = threat in the airspace) and the original Latvian text. An ended alert stays visible in grey for 24 hours.
- Latvia road layers (LVC): new 21.10 three separate layers as in Estonia — 🚧 road works and restrictions, 🚨 traffic accidents and ⚠️ road hazards; same map markers and info card as the Tark Tee layers, description in Latvian.
- Latvia weather warnings: new 20.10 official LVĢMC yellow, orange and red weather warnings by area (active and starting within 48 h); text in English and Latvian.
- Latvia sea level and warnings: new 20.10 LVĢMC coastal gauges shown as deviation from the yearly mean, together with official LVĢMC water level rise warnings; a new warning or very high level is also announced on the radio (for listeners who selected Latvia).
- Latvian radiation stations: Latvian radiation monitoring readings are published on the official State Environmental Service website (vvd.gov.lv); VSR does not display them.
- Latvia water levels: new 20.10 LVĢMC river and lake gauge levels hourly, 24 h change and a 48 h chart; colour shows the level compared with the past year (not an official flood threshold).
- Lithuania border markers: new 20.10 the Lithuania–Belarus and Lithuania–Russia (Kaliningrad) border line and about 2,500 numbered border posts (OpenStreetMap mapper data, not an official register). All border-marker layers (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) now share one look; number labels appear when zoomed in.
- Latvia eastern border markers: new 19.10 the Latvia–Russia and Latvia–Belarus border line and border posts. On the Belarus border all markers (with number, type and post) come from the official demarcation coordinate catalogue (2008); on the Russia border all 648 markers (centre plus the Latvian and Russian posts, about 2000 points) come from the official catalogue of border marker coordinates (demarcation documents 2017, likumi.lv); two points with wrong degree coordinates use the catalogue UTM coordinates instead.
- Latvia and Lithuania satellite hotspots: new 20.10 NASA FIRMS satellite hotspots of the last 24 h now also for Latvia and Lithuania, each with its own switch.
- Latvia and Lithuania population density: new 20.10 the Eurostat Census 2021 1 km grid (data from the Latvian and Lithuanian statistical offices; © European Union, CC BY 4.0). VSR shows only populated squares; values are unchanged. The Estonian layer still uses Statistics Estonia data.
- Lithuania weather warnings: new 20.10 yellow, orange and red warnings of the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service (LHMT) by county via MeteoAlarm; the popup shows the issuer, time of issue and the text in English and Lithuanian. Time delays between this website and the www.meteoalarm.org website are possible. For the most up-to-date awareness information as published by the participating National Meteorological and Hydrological Services, please refer to www.meteoalarm.org.
- Lithuania sea level and warnings: new 20.10 LHMT gauges at Klaipėda port, Palanga and the Curonian Lagoon (Juodkrantė) — deviation from the station mean together with LHMT coastal and flood warnings.
- Lithuania water levels: new 20.10 about 90 LHMT river and lake gauges hourly (api.meteo.lt, CC BY-SA 4.0). Colour compares the level with the history VSR has collected — only ~30 days at first, so the comparison is weak for now (not an official flood threshold).
- Lithuania road layers (Via Lietuva): new 21.10 three separate layers as in Estonia — 🚧 road works and restrictions (incl. weak-bridge limits), 🚨 traffic accidents and ⚠️ road hazards (damaged surface, obstructions); speed, weight and size limits on the info card, description in Lithuanian.
- Lithuania radiation stations: new 20.10 the radiation layer shows 40 stations of the Radiation Protection Centre's RADIS network (approximate, by town) with links to the RADIS map and EURDEP. Readings are on the RADIS map.
- Lithuania road cameras: about 300 state-road cameras from Via Lietuva (eismoinfo.lt); the latest image opens in the popup.
- Baltic assessment: the Analyst panel has a "Latvia & Lithuania" section — a separate assessment every 3 hours and immediately after a Latvian air-threat alert (alerts, ships in coastal waters, military aircraft and drones, power outages, hotspots). Only findings for the countries selected in the layer menu are shown.
- Baltic overview on the Radio: after each Baltic assessment a short overview is read out — only to listeners who have Latvia or Lithuania selected.
- Ships: AIS coverage now includes the Lithuanian and Courland coasts (Klaipėda, Liepāja, Ventspils).
VSR Analyst new 05.10
An AI analyst that reads the same machine-readable data stream as the map and answers the question "so what?":
- Situation sheet: every hour (and immediately after an important event: national alert, radiation, GNSS anomaly, Russian border-region alert, energy, balloon, sea level, a ship loitering over cables) the server compiles a numbered situation sheet of all layers — ships, aircraft, GNSS, radiation, energy, outages, border, warnings, NOTAMs, fires, roads, weather, military areas, Russian alerts, news, sensors — and compares each figure with its own normal level for that hour and weekday.
- Assessment: the model (Anthropic Claude Haiku; Google Gemini and Groq as fallback) returns a level (normal / elevated / high / alert), a plain-language summary, findings with severity and confidence, and references to the sheet rows it relied on. Every reference is validated; an alert needs high confidence and at least two independent rows.
- Panel: the 🧠 Analyst button opens the latest assessment with findings, the facts behind each reference, watch items, changes since the previous run, data gaps and history. Estonian and English.
- Bulletins: alert- and high-severity findings go to the Radio (max two per cycle, no repeats within 6 h) and alerts also by e-mail.
- Honesty rules: missing data is reported as a gap, not as zero; routine events (e.g. the daily FMI radiosonde from Jokioinen) are filtered out and do not trigger the Analyst.
VSR Radio
An automatic Estonian-language operational radio that reads out new events on the map (Estonian only for now):
- Radio on the phone and in the car: new 08.10 a lightweight page /raadio.html without the map — big button, bulletin text and recent bulletins; audio continues with the screen locked, with pause and "next" on the lock screen (Media Session). While idle a quiet air-bed plays so the phone does not suspend the page.
- Analyst and sea level in the Radio: the Analyst's alerts and high-severity findings, sea-level warnings (station, cm, trend, ferry impact) and the "new layer" notice are read out; routine weather-station radiosondes are no longer announced.
- Flood warnings in the Radio: new 11.10 high water on rivers and lakes (station, level in cm, 24 h change, comparison with the long-term monthly maximum) and weather-radar cloudbursts with ≥20 mm in 1 h or ≥30 mm in 3 h (place and estimated rainfall, flooding risk for streets and underpasses).
- Power-outage area: new 14.10 when at least 5 faults cluster within 15 km, the Radio also names the area (e.g. "All 15 faults are in one area: around Tihemetsa, Pärnu County"); a new cluster is always announced. The Analyst gets the same information as a separate line.
- Suspicious AIS transmitters: new 14.10 a stationary suspicious transmitter (e.g. a test transmitter on land) is announced once, and again only if it moves more than 1 km or after a week.
- Event bulletins: national crisis and cyber alerts (kriis.ee, RIA), power outages, rising background radiation, navigational warnings, shadow-fleet vessels, military aircraft, thunderstorms, balloons and weather sondes, fire hotspots, main road closures, spot price peaks, weather warnings and the number of vessels at the Gulf of Finland anchorage.
- "While you were away": when a listener returns, a summary of what happened during their absence (up to 30 min) is read out; many vessel notices are merged into one short overview.
- Morning and evening review: a summary of the past 12 hours with today's (morning) or tomorrow's (evening) Defence Forces training area schedule.
- Time and weather: a time announcement on the hour and half hour and a short weather report at quarter hours.
- Estonian speech synthesis: University of Tartu Neurokõne (TartuNLP) low male voice.
Map tools
- Distance measurement: Shift+click on the map or the 📏 button – distance in kilometres, statute miles and nautical miles plus initial bearing (WGS84 ellipsoid, great circle). Endpoints can be dragged.
- Sharing: the "Share" link stores the map view together with open info cards and the popup – the recipient sees the same picture.
- Multi-Select: several objects as info cards side by side; the card list scrolls.
- Data freshness: new 14.10 every enabled layer in the layer menu shows a coloured dot: green = data is fresh, yellow = data is late or partial (e.g. some regions have no working aircraft source), red = the source is not responding. Hover (or tap on a phone) to see the reason and the time of the last update.
- Signal loss: new 14.10 a vessel whose AIS goes silent stays on the map for 30 minutes, and an aircraft whose ADS-B goes silent in the air for 10 minutes, as a faded grey marker at its last known position with a dashed ring and a "📡✕ X min" label; the info card says when the signal was lost. Shown only over Estonia, the Gulf of Finland and the Gulf of Riga (at the edges of coverage aircraft and ships simply leave the receiver range); stationary ordinary vessels and landed aircraft are not shown, sanctioned and shadow-fleet vessels are shown even when stationary. These markers do not affect the Radio, the Analyst or the counters.
- Language: the 🌐 button switches the interface between Estonian and English;
?lang=en opens the map in English.
Privacy and usage statistics
- Google Analytics: on the map, radio and info pages we use Google Analytics for aggregate statistics: number of visitors, country, which layers, buttons and popups are used, and whether the radio was switched on. No locations, search terms or client account data are sent with these events.
- Radio listener count: counted with a daily salted hash; IP addresses are not stored in the radio statistics.
- Server technical logs: as on any web server, requests (including the IP address) are kept for a short time to investigate errors and abuse.
Latest updates
- 31.10.–01.11.2026: Three new optional Estonian layers: fire danger index, ice chart and observations, and Internet probes (RIPE Atlas). RIPE cells turn orange only from 3 probes; an archived (over 7 days old) ice chart is no longer drawn; the Radio carries a 24-hour announcement about the new layers.
- 28.10.2026: The approximate locations of Latvian radiation monitoring stations were removed from the map at the request of the Latvian Radiation Safety Centre; readings are on the official vvd.gov.lv website.
- 28.10.2026: Analyst rules updated after external review: official hard thresholds (red weather warning, large or long-lasting power outages, elevated radiation, grid frequency deviation, official public warning) now always produce a finding of at least the matching severity, even if the language model omits it. Keyword-based “critical” labels in the alert feed are no longer treated as an official threat level, text notices older than 12 hours cannot keep the level elevated on their own, and cyber news and advisories are separated from confirmed incidents. During data gaps the last confirmed state is shown with its age. Fact lines now show 1- and 6-hour changes.
- 27.10.2026: The Analyst panel and the Radio now include a summary of the previous day from the Police and Border Guard Board and the Rescue Board, based on their official daily reports, with a link to the full report. Every Tallinn Airport delay of 30 minutes or more goes to the Radio. Aircraft data sources are polled less often to stay within the providers' free limits. A power outage listed at several substation points in the Elektrilevi data is counted once on the radio and in the bottom bar. Added a privacy and usage statistics section.
- 26.10.2026: The first-visit welcome window is in Estonian with a language switch. Radio power outage bulletins always give the location, and the map highlights the outage with a "Show on map" button (the map is not moved automatically). The Radio no longer uses evaluative words such as "critical" and no longer calls aircraft or ships targets. The TomTom traffic flow layer was removed because of its licence terms — the traffic layer shows Transport Administration traffic counters. VSR Analyst: new instructions, the overall level is lowered only after two calm hours (less flip-flopping), baselines from up to 60 days of data, faulty AIS records and off-topic news are left out of the situation sheet. The radiation popup station name now fits in the narrow panel.
- 25.10.2026: New design for the Lithuanian road camera popup; long Vilnius and Latvian bus route numbers now fit inside the map marker.
- 22.10.2026: The NOTAM layer now includes Latvian NOTAMs (LGS AIS): temporary restricted and danger areas, military activity, GNSS interference and aerodrome closures. Areas with coordinates are drawn on the map; notices that only give an area designator (e.g. EVR69A) are listed in the Riga FIR summary marker.
- 21.10.2026: Latvian and Lithuanian layers now sit in the same groups as the Estonian ones (road, maritime, airspace and weather, security) with the same names, icons, map markers and info cards. The Latvian and Lithuanian road layer was split into three as in Estonia: road works and restrictions, traffic accidents, road hazards. Country names were dropped from layer names because the layers are under the country section.
- 20.10.2026: The Estonian eastern border layer now shows the official border markers 17–538 (Government regulation No. 1, 8 Jan 2015, annex 1); previously the map showed border line points about every 250 m with VSR running numbers. New Latvian layers (weather warnings, water levels, sea level with warnings), Lithuanian border markers and a radio opening brief. New Estonian layers: water outages (Tallinna Vesi), air quality (ohuseire.ee), island ferries and Tallinn Airport flight information. Latvia–Russia border markers now from the official catalogue (648 markers). Latvia and Lithuania satellite hotspots (NASA FIRMS) with their own switches and Latvia and Lithuania population density (Eurostat 2021). Later the same layers for Lithuania: weather warnings (LHMT / MeteoAlarm), sea level, river levels, road events and radiation stations.
- 19.10.2026: New layers "Latvia eastern border markers" (Latvia–Russia and Latvia–Belarus border, OpenStreetMap) and "Latvia road events (LVC)". Belarus border markers come from the official demarcation catalogue (all numbered). The Radio Baltic overview now waits up to 3 hours for a listener who has Latvia or Lithuania selected.
- 18.10.2026: Latvia and Lithuania: country buttons in the layer menu, Latvia and Lithuania power outages, Latvia air-threat and public alerts (112.lv), Lithuania road cameras, a Baltic assessment in the Analyst panel and a Baltic overview on the Radio. New Estonian air-threat alerts layer (ERR, kriis.ee). Elektrilevi planned works in progress shown on the map. The outage card is now also in English; the Latvia and Lithuania layer choices are remembered.
- 14.10.2026: Data freshness dots in the layer menu. Vessels and aircraft that lose their position signal stay on the map, faded, at their last known position. The Radio names the area when power outages cluster, and no longer repeats a stationary suspicious AIS transmitter every hour.
- 12.–13.10.2026: VSR Analyst now uses Anthropic Claude Haiku (Gemini and Groq as fallback); fire hotspots with location and country; whole sentences on the Radio. NOTAM radio messages give exact location, area and altitude. Waze jams and heavy-vehicle share on the traffic-flow layer; nearest cameras in the proximity info window. An Elron data-source outage is distinguished from "0 trains".
- 11.10.2026: Flood monitoring: new layer "River and lake levels" (Estonian Environment Agency, ~60 stations, compared with the long-term monthly maximum) and weather-radar 1 h / 3 h rainfall-total warnings (cloudbursts, urban flooding) to the Radio and the Analyst.
- 08.10.2026: New layer "Sea level" (Estonian Environment Agency, 15–17 coastal stations, official warning limits, low water for ferry ports, radio and e-mail warnings). Cross-border power and gas flows now come from Elering's correct endpoints. Multi-source ADS-B with per-source pacing and memory — the aircraft count no longer drops to zero. Routine radiosondes silenced. Tallinn camera frames recover on their own when a camera is temporarily down.
- 05.–07.10.2026: VSR Analyst switched to Google Gemini with Groq as fallback; normal levels by hour and weekday; situation-sheet budget calibrated. Unified fonts in the layer menu and Analyst panel. The layer self-tests compare the map with the exact response the client rendered.
- 04.–05.10.2026: VSR Analyst launched (Groq, then Gemini). Unused data sources removed, dependencies updated.
- 03.10.2026: Radiation layer now also shows Rosatom monitoring stations around the Leningrad nuclear power plant (Sosnovy Bor). New layer "Russian border region warnings (EMERCOM)" – official Leningrad and Pskov region warnings, on the map and on the radio.
- 30.09.2026: New layer "Road hazards (Tark Tee DATEX II)" – Transport Administration DATEX II safety messages (feed restored on the evening of 30.09) with road weather station and message sign warnings. English user interface (menus, layers, status bar, info cards, area analysis report, daily info, diagnostics) and this English overview page.
- 29.09.2026: Traffic accidents (Tark Tee) as a separate layer. Hazardous road conditions now also come from the Transport Administration's Tark Tee map services (variable message signs, road weather stations) when the DATEX II feed is unavailable.
- 28.09.2026: Statistics Estonia population grid – new "Population density" layer and resident count in the Area Analysis report. Distance measurement tool (km / mi / nmi, bearing). Bottom status bar layout fixes.
- 27.09.2026: Real 24-hour generation and consumption chart on the energy cards (Elering). AIS coverage extended to the eastern Gulf of Finland, the Gulf of Riga and Pärnu Bay, and the southern Baltic. Drone area layer and NOTAM obstacles; support for the new EANS NOTAM format. "While you were away" radio summary, traffic accidents and merged vessel notices. Share link keeps open info cards. Estonian-language Google basemaps, GNSS reference station position and Multi-Select scrolling fixes.
